Meet the Team

Meet Shivery, a collaborative group of senior students from Drexel University specializing in game development, computer science, and music. Our goal is to deliver a linear horror game experience through a unique blend of technological and artistic skills.

This team has been overseen by our advisors Rob Lloyd, Dan Rose, and Jeff Salvage.

Our Leads

Leads are essential to team progress. They manage tasks, progress, and deadlines. Leaders regularly meet to assess team performance and plan how to meet project goals. They are also the main point of contact for team conflicts, seeking quick and fair solutions. Our leads participate in all major functions, receive major updates first, and collaborate with all project aspects to ensure a balanced outcome.

Our Artists

The art team is responsible for setting the chilling, cinematic visual tone of Shivery. We are actively integrating environmental storytelling—from dirtying up skeletons and walls to adding essential clutter and decals—and finalizing all key visual effects, including spellcasting feedback, to ensure the game is both beautiful and terrifying.

Our Designers

The design team shapes the player experience, balancing dread with direction. Our top priorities are refining the monster interactions with the player's path, completing the core narrative, and standardizing all input controls. We use frequent playtesting and detailed feedback to ensure intuitive player guidance through subtle visual and environmental cues.

Our Programmers

The programming team is dedicated to building the core systems that drive Shivery's crafted experience. We polish, bug-proof, and ensure the functionality of all mechanics, from inventory and crafting to screen effects and tutorial prompts, before our final deadline.

Our Audio Producers

The audio team builds Shivery’s dynamic soundscape by utilizing complex Wwise integration to heighten tension. We organize assets to ensure compatibility with all other game elements and compose music that will underscore key moments in the narrative.
